Again I find myself unable to write original strips without both borrowing from real life conversations and totally ripping off Ryan North's style! I can only hope I'm really doing the latter!

So this is what happened when I tried to write the strip from scratch. It ended up an imitation of Dinosaur Comics that Austen thought was funny so I went with it. After I wrote it I realized it was still based on a conversation I had with Craig. Dang it's hard not to do that.

My roommate Craig joins us as the baby-blue-ish bubble. I actually had to remember the exchange from real life that inspired this. I'm pretty proud of myself for that. It was his idea to make it a strip though. Also trying a new font. I think this one reads better and looks more like a comic strip. They are funnier letters I think.
